On:Spec are the North Easts leading wholesale optical company, with the largest range of designer frames in the region. Despite this the main customer base was the over 50’s.
We were brought in to create a new digital presence for On:Spec, to bring them into the modern digital age and expand their customer base into a younger more fashion savvy audience.
Due to the lack of any existing digital presence we literally had a blank canvas to work from. So our first stop was creating a presence on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. After a 3 month build-up we launched their first campaign – Look Spectacular. The concept played on the “spec” element of the name and hashtag to suggest that no look is complete without a great pair of spectacles to match.
